Registered students have the option of staying at the ILI Residence which has 9 fully-furnished bedrooms (7 single & 2 double rooms) and is located on the fourth & fifth floors. Each bedroom is equipped with a bed, wardrobe, desk & chair, an armchair & bedside tables. The double room has a mini-fridge, more space & extra storage room. The weekly Residence fees are: €80 (Euros) per single room, €95 (Euros) per double room. Students are required to stay in the Residence for at least the duration of one 4- or 5-week course. Any student wishing to vacate his/her Residence accommodation before the end of their Arabic course will not receive a refund of any of the rent paid. Students are charged €20 (Euros) per week to cover utilities, that is, electricity, water etc. They are also required to pay a refundable deposit of €100 as security against damages. ILI accommodation is inspected on the final day of students' stay. Provided that there are no damaged or missing fixtures and fittings, the €100 deposit will be refunded in full prior to the students in question checking out. Rooms will be cleaned twice-a-week, bed sheets changed once-a-week. One bathroom is shared by the occupants of two to three bedrooms. Bath & hand towels are provided. Residents can meet and relax in two comfortable sitting areas which are furnished with sofas, side tables, cabinets, a TV with satellite connection & a telephone (local connection only). The separate dining rooms feature dining tables & chairs, a cabinet & sideboard. The two kitchens are equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave cooker, grill, washing machine, pots/ pans & dishes, as well as kitchen towels. Washed items can be hung outdoors on a balcony. Ironing boards & irons are also provided. The kitchen, bathroom & lounge will be cleaned three times a week. Smoking is not permitted in these areas out of respect for non-smoking residents. Those students who wish to smoke can do so on the balcony. Security & Assistance: The ILI has its own 24-hour security team, located at the entrance of the building. Requests for non-urgent assistance or those of a special nature should be made directly to our reception team at ILI. Check in & Check out: Students check in at reception on registration day (the first day of their Arabic course) and must have their passports available. The residence fees are to be paid when checking in. Final re-confirmation of the date & time of a student's check-out must be made to the ILI reception team no later than a week before his/her departure. Residence keys must be returned to reception prior to the student's departure. Students who leave at times outside the ILI's working hours must leave their keys with the security guard at the entrance to the Residence.
