MSA ( Modern Standard Arabic ) Modern Standard Arabic (or Fous-ha) is used in educated conversation and the media. The course will enable you to develop your competence in reading, writing, listening and speaking. As you progress, you will be able to discuss cultural and current affairs in the Middle East, be able to understand radio and television programmes and read Arabic literature (including Islamic texts).
ECA (Egyptian Colloquial Arabic) Egyptian Colloquial Arabic (or Aameya) is the most widely understood dialect in the Middle East. With our communicative approach, and our focus on small classes, students can quickly progress through our levels to a point where they can really begin to communicate.
Combined MSA/ECA Courses are scheduled so that it is possible for students to study both ECA and MSA simultaneously, which is of particular interest to the many committed students that we serve; diplomats, journalists, study abroad university students, archaeologists and Egyptologists, government agencies and numerous professional organizations.
